Deal time 2.0

It appears that many small to mid-level deals on the web have been closed over the past 12 months helping a number of small web sites cash seriously in, some of the acquisitions have been valued at more than $50M … is it deal time?

Some of the deal's values of the web sites mentioned herein provoked wide specualations and discussions about the value of some of the leading in their specific market sectors and niches web 2.0 companies amongst which are YouTube.com, (user generated video streaming site) Digg.com (user promoted news site) and LinkedWords.com (multi-million-page web 2.0 contextual platform)…

Live.com Episode 2.0

Live.com’s search has been unveiled yesterday. Is this the next big thing on the web, or another silly attempt of Microsoft to adequately compete with its search rivals in the face of Google and Yahoo...I personally performed a search last night on Live.com without any vital success to find the information I looked for... the results and the volumes of the indexed pages of the sites i have known, were much less than Yahoo's and Google's ones... Yet I think it is just the first right step the Redmond’s giant is taking over to really grab its own portion from the search engine industry cake...

I also believe that with much success or less Microsoft will always be out there on the search arena…
